AI & Content Usage

1. Introduction

At AI Lumière, we use AI tools to create original audiovisual content. This document explains how AI-generated content produced through our services may be used, and the limits of our responsibility. By using our services and accessing AI-generated content, you agree to the terms below.

2. AI-generated content

AI Lumière uses artificial intelligence to generate videos, images, text and audio. We work to ensure quality, accuracy and creative control, but we cannot guarantee that every output will meet a specific expectation, legal standard or intended use. Results depend on the inputs, references and materials provided to us.

3. Transparency

We tell you which AI tools and which categories of data are used on your project. Where the law or the platform requires it, AI-generated or AI-altered content should be labelled as such, and we will help you do so.

4. Likeness, voices and personal data

We do not create the likeness or voice of a real person without that person’s documented consent. If you provide photos, footage or recordings of real people, you confirm that you hold the necessary rights and permissions. Training data supplied for a project (for example, a character model) is used only for that project and is deleted on request once the project is closed, unless your contract states otherwise.

5. Your responsibilities

  • Lawful use. You will not use AI-generated content for illegal, harmful or deceptive purposes.
  • Compliance. You will ensure your use complies with applicable laws, including copyright, intellectual property, image rights and privacy law.
  • Respect for rights. You will not use the content in a way that infringes the rights of others, including copyright, trademark or other proprietary rights.

6. Accuracy and reliability

AI-generated content is produced by algorithms and may contain errors or inaccuracies. We review our deliverables before delivery, but AI Lumière does not guarantee that content is error-free or fit for a particular purpose, to the extent permitted by law.

7. Copyright and ownership

Rights to delivered content are defined in your contract or project agreement, which grants you a licence or assignment as specified there. AI Lumière retains ownership of the underlying technology, methods, workflows and models used to create the content, unless a separate written agreement says otherwise.

If you supply third-party material, you are responsible for holding the rights needed to use it.

8. Third-party content

AI Lumière is not responsible for third-party content supplied by users, including input data, references and assets. You agree to indemnify AI Lumière against claims arising from third-party content you provide.

9. Limits and ethical considerations

  • Bias and fairness. AI models can reflect biases present in their training data. We work to limit them but cannot guarantee content is entirely free of them.
  • Ethical use. We do not support the use of AI for deception, harassment or other harmful purposes.

10. Changes to services

AI Lumière may modify, suspend or discontinue AI-powered services or tools. Where a project is under contract, the terms of that contract apply.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

To the extent permitted by applicable law, AI Lumière makes no express or implied warranty regarding AI-generated content or AI tools, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.
