Film director and founder of AI Lumière. Together with our team, we make films that move people, and today we make them with AI.
I came to AI from cinema, not the other way around.
For more than twenty years I directed and produced films. More than twenty-five of them were documentaries. In 2019 I presented the film Please turn around at the Cannes Film Festival as part of an official delegation.
For seven of those years I led creative teams, and I learned that a good film is mostly a conversation: between the idea and the people who bring it to life, and later between the film and the person watching.
When AI arrived, we were curious rather than afraid. As a team, we know when it helps a story and when it gets in the way. That is why every project starts with storyboards: a mistake costs little on paper and a lot on screen.
In 2025 we founded AI Lumière, the studio our team built on that. It is not one person’s work: every film is made together. We have our own method and our own platform, and we build pipelines that carry a film from the first idea to the final cut without losing its heart.
